My neighbor just got an adorable yorkie pup.  It's a little girl, very cute and very friendly.  She's at a total loss for what to name her though.  Give me your best "little dog" name ideas!

You ought to take a look at the NUTRECARE website, if you click on this link www.nutrecare.co.uk, they have put together a list of dog names, including the 20 most popular, it's really good, there are some names that will really make you laugh, there is also breed profiles, ideal if your thinking of getting a new pup, take a look LOL

I like smart alec names.  Like using a big name like Thunder or Bruiser for a little dog.  Just cute in my opinion.

If I had a female puppy, I would name her Julia Roberts, just because I think Julia is cute and friendly. Besides, most likely it will be a very unique name with other dogs around!

We had 2 cats and decided to call that after perfumes, Issey and Oscar, so when we got a dog we followed on the same way with Paco.
I found a great site for pet health articles.

I would take the unconventional road to naming a dog.  For instance, several years ago, I received my pup lab, and on that day I was watching "A fistful of dollars" with clint eastwood.  Turns out one of the characters' name was "silvito" .  Guess what?  That is what I name my pup chocolate lab.  Never heard any complaints from him yet.

To be honest, naming a dog, rusty, mac, or princess?  Really.  There must be at least 500 million dogs with those overly used names.  Almost as common as John or Mary.  Confused
